We encourage especially students coming from countries outiside of EEA to purchase a Romanian SIM card, as the offers for calls, sms and Internet within Romania are quite cheap by comparison to other countries. Moreover, certain offers can allow students to benefit from signal coverage within EU, when  travelling.

Note: A Romanian phone number has 10 digits with the first one 0 (the one from prefix +40). That means a number will look like 07xx xxx xxx when called inside Romania and 0040 7xx xxx xxx in international format.
